1. Free Conduct Pass issued to Falk Schloesser (born Darmstadt, 1760) in 1798. 2. Commendation issued by the War Ministry of the Great Duchy of Hessen to Falk Schloesser, innkeeper, for his services in the war. Document dated 1 February 1841. 3. Three sketchbooks of the artist Carl Schloesser of London (died 1910); Pencil with some water colour reference sketches of European views and portraits, c.1856-1874, which were subsequently used as the basis for oil paintings. 4. Manuscript written by Robert Slessor marking the birth of his son Kenneth; 16 page holograph (with typescript transcription) dated 28 March 1901, the day after Kenneth's birth. 5. Kenneth Slessor's press pass issued by the New South Wales Police in 1961.

The family of poet Kenneth Slessor originated in Germany. In 1914 they changed thir name from Schloesser to Slessor.
